Shalom y’all, how’s it going?

This weekend, I reorganized the classroom (AGAIN….I do this every couple of months, don’t ask me why) and it’s so clean and organized and everything I want it to be (for now 😂). My intern helped me (I have an INTERN, how amazing is that??), and he’s also helping me FINALLY tackle my constantly growing list of things that I want to do.

I know I’m not alone with this…I have tons and tons of screenshots, sketches, and Pinterest posts of all these wonderful activities and games to create and use in the classroom. I started with these super-easy DIY VELCRO® Brand Popsicle Sticks. They are incredibly easy to put together, and can be used to teach colors, numbers, shapes, and letters, and children can spend loads of time creating their own structures. See the pictures below for some ideas:

All you need are popsicle (craft) sticks and VELCRO® Brand dot fasteners. You’ll need two sets of dots for each stick (1 set = 1 fuzzy side + sticky side). Put two fuzzy dots at the ends of the each stick on one side, and then two sticky dots at the ends on the other side. That’s it!

Use it to construct letters, and learn colors!

They’re also perfect for building shapes, and designing all kinds of structures!

Happy creating! Tag me on Instagram @thekefar if you make your own set, I’d love to see how your little learners use theirs!
