LEARN HEBREW ONLINE

Learn Hebrew online in an accessible, engaging, and culturally responsive way. I have helped learners of literally all ages to acquire Hebrew language skills, and I can help you too! In addition to group classes for adults + youth, and private lessons, I also offer self-paced online courses, publish Hebrew lessons on YouTube, run a Facebook group for Hebrew learners, and post Hebrew content on Instagram.

I have had the privilege of studying Hebrew with T’helah. She is a teacher that is very kind, patient, and understanding of the challenges we face in learning a foreign language. She has been extremely encouraging to me and I want to express sincere appreciation to her. I commend her highly to anyone studying the Hebrew language in need of a tutor. T’helah has made numerous suggestions to me for additional aids, learning strategies, and other helps that have been very beneficial to me along the way. T’helah, thank you again!

I have been a student of T’helah for quite a while now. I am so grateful to be her student. She is creative, fun and so very patient and I just enjoy my Hebrew learning under her guidance. She is absolutely amazing and I am learning so very much with her help. She is always prepared and ready. I feel very comfortable with her and can ask her any questions regarding Hebrew and I know that she will answer to the best of her ability. I definitely feel that she genuinely loves teaching and has an amazing gift and I am so thankful to have someone as gifted and amazing as her working with me!!!!!! She makes learning stress free and fun.

Feedback from a student in my Learn to Read Hebrew course

What's your educational background?

I’ve been teaching Hebrew since 2014, and have experience working with children (preschool, elementary, and high school) and adults, both in-person and online. My second master’s degree is in Teaching Hebrew as a Second Language, and I also hold certificates in Teaching Hebrew to Beginners, and Exposing Young Children to Hebrew Language and Culture.

What platform do you use for Hebrew lessons?

I use Zoom for online Hebrew classes, which is free for students. It has live audio, live video, screen share, chat feature, and whiteboard. This means we will be able to see and hear each other in real time; you will be able to see notes, presentations, and other documents that I share. You get all of the benefits of an in-person session, without ever having to leave home.

What's your Hebrew teaching style?

My teaching style is provides lots of comprehensible input (CI), which just means Hebrew language (input) that you can understand (comprehensible). I introduce vocabulary in context, and use pictures, stories, games, etc. to help you acquire Hebrew so that you can use it naturally. I’m very patient, very encouraging, and very good at what I do!
