Shalom! I hope you all had an amazing holy season and are ready to finish out the year feeling renewed and refreshed!

The big boys are wrapping up our Israel study this week, with just two days left in the month. Next week the boys will assemble their map books, which include a cool map feature that wasn’t in the Morocco one, so I’m excited about that! This week was pretty standard – every day included copy work as penmanship practice (they copy a sentence from each week’s Torah portion in both Hebrew and English); math (workbooks + dice game worksheets + iPad Hebrew math game + Uno); English; and Hebrew via Duolingo classroom (review to come soon).

(Check my Instagram for details on these subtraction activities, and I review the iPad app in this Revi’i Review.)

Instead of starting a new book with the Littles, we did some Creation-related art projects to help them learn our order of creation song (Seder HaB’riyah). It’s so funny how things come full-circle….two years ago I was teaching these same things to my now big boys! Above is our Day 1 – day & night collage, and below are our Day 2 – sky and waters painting and cotton ball projects.

Be sure to follow me on Instagram (@thekefar) to see other great photos of learning taking place. If you have any questions or comments about our week or the week to come, let me know in the comments below!

Shabbat shalom!
