These personalized, double-sided Bilingual Name Mats are great tools for helping children learn to spell their names in both Hebrew and English. I first created these for my preschoolers, who would match each black letter card to the right colored letter on the mat. To help master letters and sounds, we would clean up one letter at a time: i.e. “put the S in the bag” or “give me the letter that makes the /d/ sound.” I laminated the mats so they would last long, and also create a dry-erase surface perfect for letter writing practice/fine-motor skill building.
These Bilingual Name Mats are designed to print on 8.5″ x 14″ [legal size] paper (available at any office supply or craft store), and the name cards print on regular 8.5″ x 11″ paper.
Since the Bilingual Name Mats are personalized, they are made to order and take up to 3 business days. Once you place your order, email info@thekefar.com with your full name (so I can match it against your order), and your child’s/student’s English and Hebrew name.
